{Review} - Baby Bjorn Organic Miracle Carrier!

And the Winner is...

Thank you to everyone who entered - there were so many wonderful entries.  I couldn't make a decision.  So I call in for some help.  I asked the lovely Daisy, from Daisy, Roo & Two, Jess, from Diary of a SAHM and Gemma from My Big Nutshell if they could have a meeting and decide on a winner.

It took them 2 days to each go through the entries, and then agree on a winner.

The decided on this one as they could relate to it so much:

How would this change my life? So my children don't think my only words are STOP mind the baby, NOOO DON'T RUN OFF... Godsend

Congratulations Beth!

There is only a couple of things that have been constant throughout having Five children.  The cot, an awesome playmat, and our Baby Bjorn carrier.  I tried a few different ones when Hayden was born, but the Baby Bjorn was the only one that was easy to use and consistently comfortable.

When I was asked to road test the NEW Baby Bjorn Organic Miracle Carrier, I knew that it would be a hit!

We have had our Classic Baby Bjorn Carrier for many many years and it has held up extremely well.  It has been machine washed numerous times and worn hundreds of times.  It is still holding up strong.

The main difference that I loved with the Baby Bjorn Organic Miracle Carrier is the extra back support. I have always thought that the original was very comfortable, but now that I have tried the Organic Miracle, I realise that the lower back brace is a must.  And the Organic cotton makes me happy!

The age recommendation is from birth to 15 months - however we used it from when our baby's were a couple of weeks - up until they were too heavy for us.  Camille is 18 months old and we still regularly use it.

Have you ever had a toddler run off on your while you tie your shoes?

Hands free - with security!

The awesome peeps at Baby Bjorn have generously given me one Baby Bjorn Organic Miracle Carrier to giveaway.  Valued at $229.95.

All you have to do is tell me How a Baby Bjorn Organic Miracle Carrier would change your life!  Leave your entry in a comment below.

Entries for Australian Residents only and competition closes Tuesday 10th April at 6pm.

  1. LOL firstly LOVE the pics, especially hubby on the scooter, funny stuff!!
Secondly, it would change my life because at the moment, I have 2 kiddos at school, 2 at home, and i am parent club president at school. I am forever running in and out of school, and getting the pram out is such a bother and bub doesn't like sitting in it for some reason. It would change my life because I could comfortably carry bubz and watch the 3yo while doing all my mummy things at school :D

  2. I am entering on behalf of my beautiful sister who is currently pregnant with her second child. Her children will only be 20 months apart once she gives birth. She is struggling financially and can't afford a double pram at this stage. She can't work and her husband has just lost his job. She is a fantastic mother and has always been here for me. Our brother passed away when he was just 12, and one of my earliest memories is of my sister and I pushing our beds together and falling asleep holding hands to comfort each other. As we've grown, she's continued to hold my hand through all the ups and
downs of my life, and I would love to be able to repay her somewhat. Thankyou for the opportunity. Email is kookla123@yahoo.com

  3. It would change my life because I am mum to 3 girls step mum to a boy and another girl. I also am studying full time to be a teacher. My littlest girl is very clingy and loves cuddles, I'd be able to carry her around whilst I am catching up in housework in the middle of the night and carry her hands free whilst I'm reading textbooks. On top of all that I am a small dog co-ordinator for a dog rescue group known as best friends rescue, I am on the phone a lot and I'd be able to carry my sooky bubba whilst I am doing that. Thanks for thinking about me :) cat_meow70@hotmail.com

  4. OMG that looks awsome I used a slingf or my first two kids, and am now expecting baby number 4. Anything that can keep baby happy with me being able to run after the other children has got to be a plus! Especially when walking the eldest to preschool and trying to hold onto the others little hands

  5. I'm entering this, not to change my life- but for a friend. I have one of these and it is amazingly brilliant- I love it to bits! (and I agree, the back support is a must!). But I have a friend who has two under two the same as me- and I know how easy it makes my life and I would love to give it to her! She see's how much I use mine and love it, and she would love to get one, but price is an issue. So if I won- I would help change her life :)

  6. hey danielle, i would like to change my very close friends life by winning this for her. My friend has not had much luck in the past few years, she has been trying to fall pregnant forever now, and it was just not happening, finally it did!, sadly it didnt last, now she has been given another chance and is now again pregnant, and everything is fine. YIPPEE!!. My friend is the kind of person that would move the world for anyone or anything and expect nothing in return. Because she has a bad back and visits the chiropractor often i think the Baby Bjorn Organic Miracle Carrier would be the perfect choice as she is ALWAYS on the go, so busy dashing here and there. So i think once bub has arrived this would be the perfect accessory to her life, to be able to have bub with her when on the go, while having the support for her back.

  8. Ohh how exciting! I have a baby carrier but I never use it because it doesn't give me enough back support. I have a bad back and frequently visit the chiropractor - after two pregnancies in two years, my neck and spine are pretty shot! It would be brilliant to have a carrier that I could take my little 5-month-old around in and put Mr 20 Months in a single pram, rather than trying to get out and about with a huge and very ancient double pram that doesn't fit through doorways and is very heavy to lift in and out of the car. Currently I don't leave the house much and Mr 20 Months gets pretty bored at home, so if I won the Baby Bjorn Organic Miracle Carrier it would definitely change my life! I would love to take the boys out more and enjoy the wonderful autumn weather before it gets too cold for outings! Pick me!!!

  9. I would love to win this fantastic Baby Bjorn carrier as I have always wanted a top notch carrier for my babies, but finanaces just never seemed to stretch far enough. I made do with a pouch sling last time, but when your babies are ten pounds at birth, you can imagine how fast they grew out of the pouch!

We are hoping to add number four to our beautiful family soon if mother nature ever lets it happen. I would love to have this beautiful carrier ready to rock and roll once bubs does come along.

  10. This would change my life immensely! We have just had our third baby and to be able to have my hands free to rangle the older two would be fantastic. We are planning on having a fourth baby (not right now!) and it would get so much use and just be so awesome! Thanks for the opportunity.

  11. I'm not entering because I have just given my baby Bjorn away! They really are the best things ever. No other carrier compares at all. We had one With the back support and it was awesome!

  12. My husband and I are strong advocates for attachment parenting and we think using a Baby Bjorn Miracle Organic Carrier would really help nurture and enhance our bonding experience with our baby as she will quite literally be 'attached' to us! Not only would our baby feel safe and snug against our bodies (particularly as we head into these cooler Autumn days...brrrr)but she will be able to see and explore the big wide world whilst all the time knowing that we are right there behind her...again quite literally!

Oh and we LOVE the fact that it's organic cotton! This is an environmentally friendly, natural material that will feel beautiful against our baby's skin. PLUS organic cotton is farmer friendly which means the farmers are not being exposed to the harmful, toxic chemicals which are used in the production of standard cotton and which are thought to be responsible for the chronic health problems and the deaths of tens of thousands each year of farmers in third-world and developing countries. Remember these farmers are parents and have families too! http://www.peopletree.co.uk/content/32/organic-cotton-fibreO

    1. Ps. I'm new to blogs (my sister send me the link to your cool blog) so although I've now signed up to receive email updates through my yahoo email address, I have no idea how to create a 'profile' on your blog. Could you please point me in the right direction? Thank you!

  13. I would LOVE to win this Danielle. Our baby boy was born weighing 4.5 kilos & now at 4 months old he's already outgrown his Baby Carrier. I have a Baby Bjorn Original which I LOVE LOVE LOVE, but he is about to outgrow this too! I really want to upgrade to this next fabulous Baby Bjorn but financially can't just yet. This would change my life immensely...as I use a carrier so many times each day - Kindy drop off & pick ups with his baby sister, dashes into the shops & even around the house....as it's the best way to settle him whilst still being able to get all my 'chores' done :) Great giveaway Danielle. x

  14. I would love this carrier. Miss 6months is too big for the hug-a-bub now and after spending all my dollars on an Ergo I found she doesn't like it and to be honest it's not all that comfortable for me! School pickups and dropoffs are tedious as it is with three in car seats and no road sense plus the schoolie. Having my hands free again, rather than the pram, would be amazing! xx Lee (asteon at internode.on.net)

  17. mmm, fantastic reasons here and all I can say is I have a 7 week old princess and a four year old boy who thinks he is part Ben 10 / part ninja / Part spiderman all rolled into one - having my hands free would be my current idea of heaven - for school drop offs, shopping, going to the park.....ahhhhhh. thank you. bellabm7@gmail.com

This would change my life big time. We have just had a new baby and have a 3yr old and a 2yr old so getting out of the house is a thing of the past. This will help me big time, being able to do Kindy drop offs and pick ups, going to the park so the kids aren't stuck at home or to get the loaf of bread or milk we have run out of let alone nappies!! We cannot afford this with another little person in the house and all our current expenses. So yea would be changing our life big time!

  24. There are so many great responses and so many people in need of this wonderful carrier. We would love a baby carrier for our new baby girl who is only 4 months old. She is baby number 2 after 14 years! Yes i waited 14 long years to find Mr Right and start a family again. This is my husband's first child and being in our late 30's we will have to hurry up to have another. So if we're lucky enough to be blessed with another child we will have two little ones and our hands completely full. My husband has been reluctant to get a carrier as his back isn't the best but after seeing this one and all the back support it would be a lovely way for my husband and his new baby girl to bond. Good luck to all those who entered. Everyone's comment i read is worthy of this fabulous product. (louisegoldstraw@yahoo.com.au)

  25. OMGoodness...... It would be a life saver.....With a severely reflux baby, keeping her upright has always been important.. We used our baby bjorn Air Carrier and it was great.... I have since given it away as our baby is 3 now. But i have many friends who are expecting, and i just cant stress enough how Baby Bjorns' are a must in the big pre baby buy up... I wish I hd someone who knew what are musts to buy when i was expecting....xox
P.S> Brett is looking like hes enjoying himself... lol.. Great models xoxo

  26. This would solve my current problem. I was given an original bjorn carrier (ever stylish tartan!) And I have loved it, so has Miss 7 months. However I can only use it for short periods of time because my lower back starts to ache. I didn't know the newest model had more support. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE a new baby bjorn!

  27. Corey and I love our original baby bjorn, it has helped with bonding, whilst also enabling me to get housework done - lol! Now he is a bigger boy I really need to update to this baby bjorn, with better back support for me, plus the new look one is so much snazzier than the one I currently have, :)

  28. I know exactly how it would change my life cause we're borrowing the original from a friend!

We're going to Melbourne in a few weeks and this will be great so that we don't have to lug a big pram on the plane, or on trams when we get there!

Lior likes to be nursed to sleep (bad habit I know), and so when I put him in this I can get stuff done while he bounces around and looks at stuff, or bod off to sleep if he's tired! A definite lifesaver!

  29. Being able to wear my baby in a Baby Bjorn would ensure I am available to my other children and be able to effortlessly go about everyday tasks whilst keeping my precious cargo where they should be...right with me!

  30. We are going to India soon to visit family and the Baby bjorn organic miracle carrier would change our life immensely. It would help to ensure the safety of our little boy- my husband is determined our fair skinned child is not going to be out of our arms in public! I must admit that I have an older Baby Bjorn but am not using it as much at the moment, as it does not have that great back support! After a day of carrying our 12 month old I could imagine the aches and pains. russellcathryn at yahoo.com.au

  31. I think this carrier is ideal for people travelling! Packing a pram with you everywhere you go is simply not convenient and can create a lot of stress, possibly ruining your precious holiday. With a Baby Bjorn your life is easy and happy!

  32. I would love this Baby Bjorn Organic Mircle Carrier. With a five year gap between my youngest and the new bub this carrier would change my life! This bub is going to have to be attached to me 24/7 to cope with the busy lives of its sisters and family. School drops offs and pickups, swimming lessons, appointments, maths group, shopping and day to day life just to name a few would be so much easier with this carrier!

  33. With 2 boys who are Autistic, I decided to use a sling for number 3, mainly for safety reasons for them. Imagine my disappointment when the sling I had purchased wasn't comfortable for me or the baby. I resorted to using the capsule on most outings, which was very heavy and awkward to hold.
My sister is 23 weeks pregnant and has a son also on the spectrum. I would LOVE to be able to hand her over a NEW Baby Bjorn, knowing from experience how a good baby sling is a must have for her!
