Checking in.

I thought I would check in to let you know how my Sugar free week went.  I am please to say that I haven't had ANY sugar.  No chocolate bars, no cookies, no cakes, no soft drinks (which I don't really drink anyway), no fruit what-so-ever, no desserts, no sugar in any of my coffee's.

No sugar.

At all.

Boo :(

Day 3 and 4 of the total sugar ban was excruciating.  Horrid.

Panadol was needed to ease the pain.  My head was exploding.

Today marks the end of the 3rd week (week 1 of the total ban) and I tell you what... the demons are starting.

I have done so well.  One teaspoon of sugar in my coffee won't hurt.  Right?

One snack size chocolate bar after dinner tonight is ok.  Right?


I can do this.  I will do this.

I have been so strong and have walked away from this, so many times this week.

Too many times.

I am looking forward to my 45 minutes of "Treat Time" tomorrow.

For those who have been asking.  I am doing Sarah Wilson's "I Quit Sugar" challenge.  After the 8 weeks, I will have kicked the habit and reprogrammed my body into not craving the sweets anymore.
